All Water Is Not The Same!
The world is full of water that is bad for the health. In fact, studies have shown that less than 1% of the world's fresh water supply is fit for human consumption. Pollution is a worldwide problem.
Tap water contains chlorine and many other toxins that can cause illness or even cancer.
Discarded plastic water bottles are a huge environmental problem, creating a more toxic environment. What goes inside those bottles is not all pure goodness either. The bottled water industry is not well regulated. Some bottled waters actually contain just tap water.
Our bodies are about 75% water and for good health we should drink good, clean water. But if neither tap water nor bottled water are good, what are we to do?
Studies have shown that people who drink fresh melted glacier water are healthier and live longer than those who don't. But not everyone lives near a glacier. However, it is possible to reproduce those qualities.
Good water has these qualities:
- It is pure
- It is ionized
- It is alkaline
- It is anti-oxidant
- It is micro-clustered
So what is different about ionized water?
- It is alkaline. Sickness is usually found in acidity. Alkaline Water has a pH of 8.5 – 9.5 and is able to restore the alkalinity of the bloodstream which should be close to pH 7.3 but in a sick body is usually much lower.
- It is an anti-oxidant. This can be measured and it has been proven to have a higher anti-oxidizing potential than even cod liver oil or green tea or blueberries or vitamins C & E. What this means is it scavenges the free radicals that create aging.
- It is micro-clustered. After a lifetime of acid your organs will begin to store up acid waste, one reason why we gain weight. In the same way your cells are stressed. and have built up protective walls. Other water is unable to penetrate this acid waste and so the cells are never hydrated and they gradually die. With ionized water the process is reversed.

What is pH?
Liquids can be acidic (as in battery acid) or alkaline (as in lye). Or they can be neutral, neither acidic, nor alkaline. Chemists have developed a way to measure the degree of acidiy and alkaliniy. The pH scale (p for potential and H for Hydrogen) runs from 1 to 14, with a pH of 7 being neutral; values below 7 are acidic and values above 7 are alkaline. The pH scale is expressed in powers of 10; this means that a pH of 4 is 10 times more acidic than a pH of 5 and 100 times more acidic than a pH of 6. Likewise, a pH of 10 is 10 times more alkaline than a pH of 9 and 100 times more alkaline than a pH of 8.
The pH level of the water in a healthy body, and especially the bloodstream, should be slightly alkaline - around 7.35 pH, but unfortunately many of the foods and drinks are acidic, so it is wise to drink alkaline water to neutralize the harmful effects of acidity.
